Those are from my last raid (1 month ago) just to demonstrate my ability as a player.
I have an 80 paladin (Tibblesnbits), 80 priest (Lovably), 80 mage (Tibbles), 80 druid (Preddi), and an 80 warrior (Lopymofeed).


4. What is your raiding experience Pre-BC? In BC? WoTLK? Specify if in a leadership role.
Pre-BC- Very limited. I played with a bunch of RL friends from Highschool. Sometime after the ZG patch I got 60 and messed around in MC, BWL, ZG, AQ 20/40 on my mage now named Tibbles. I didn't clear most of said instances though but did nab the server first Zulian tiger.

BC- I got into more serious raiding and tanked Kara, Mag, Gruul and the beginning of TK/SSC on my druid (Preddi). We needed warlocks and had a lot of tanks so I rerolled to my alt. It was this guild I was an officer/class leader (warlock) in. I killed Kael and Vashj before attunements were lifted and went on to clear BT and Hyjal as well as doing multiple ZA bear runs. I killed Muru pre-nerf but didn't kill KJ until 2 weeks after (lag ftw).

WotLK- I have cleared everything except the ICC hard modes. I have server first Algalon, Yogg0, and a Tribute to Insanity. I was very active in 10m as well and finished my rusted drake/algalon/yogg0 and toc 10m long before my 25m.

I currently have sanc gloves but I need 17 more badges to buy my chest and get 4pc. Using 2pc t9 until I get 4pc t10.

On my shaman, grid is in the middle of my screen somewhat above my target and my timers below it. I use DXE and the boss health is below recount and my warnings are in the top middle and top right of my screen.


D. Dual Spec

1. What is your secondary spec?
Right now I think it is elemental because they wanted me to dps a few bosses in ICC25. Granted, half of my elemental gear is resto (gem'd for haste) but it's decent. It has been enhancement and pvp resto and elemental depending on what I'm doing.

2. Are you able to play it as well as your main spec?
Yes

3. Are you willing to change your main spec and/or secondary spec for guild needs?
Yes


E. Professions

1. What are your 2 professions? if they are not maxed to the level of profession perks, why not?
Right now they are engineering and mining.

2. If you have a gathering profession, what is stopping you from dropping it for a profession that benefits your stats more?
Trust me, mining is getting dropped especially if I am able to switch this to my main. I have been collecting the mats for JC but the Andorhal AH is rather dry. Do not confuse my lack of a 2nd raiding profession as being lazy because I have put a lot of time into my shaman.

F. Other Questions

1. What guild are you currently in? Who is/was the GM? Include their website.
I am not really in a guild. is a guild with a few friends and I'm not sure if they have a website?
After reading through the rest of the questions, I want to elaborate on this part. My main was Tibbley (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...gos&cn=Tibbley). I was horde on Andorhal and raided with Simple Math. I left a month ago because of drama and have been looking for a home since. The GM is Grouch and their website is simplemathguild.com. I can list off half the guild who can vouch for me as a raider and a person.

2. Why are you leaving your current guild?
I want a real guild.

3. Do you play actively outside of raiding?
Yes

4. Are you able to take and improve upon harsh criticism?
Yes. Well, if it is reasonable. If someone starts freaking out and yelling I'm less likely to take them seriously. But if I do something wrong I want to improve upon it, no doubt, and don't mind taking criticism.

5. There will be bench time. Everyone will have to sit at one point in time or another. Are you okay with this?
Yes

6. Why are you interested in joining Acquired Taste? do you currently know anyone in Acquired Taste?
I was looking through wowprogress for guilds in need of resto shamans. I do not know anyone in Acquired Taste. I come from a top 50 US guild and am looking for something similar in player skill and raiding.

7. What are the other guilds you applied to? any particular reason why you are shopping for multiple guilds?
I have applied to another guild but it was about a week ago and I've taken their silence as a no.

Just a few questions -

* Essentially everyone answers "no I don't mind sitting" because it makes you sound like a jackass if you say "yes I mind sitting". Right now our shaman situation essentially is that we had a resto shaman leave, come back with a shit-tastic connection, and leave again. While he was gone, we picked up another resto shaman who is good but sometimes has problems and according to one of our mages has a "shitty attitude™" and "plug pulled" (though this mage plug pulled on the next attempt I believe). You'd essentially be competing for a spot with this individual. I very rarely pick up more healers than we need (which is why our moonkin druid plays resto more than he plays moonkin at the moment), but I know that I can't stand sitting for content and want to make SURE that you are okay with the possibility that you will not be in on fights.

* You said you did Insanity, Yogg0 etc. and I am assuming that you did all of these on your warlock. At what level and at what point did you actually pick up your resto shaman as a serious secondary character instead of just an alt?

* Please explain why you do not have 4 piece at this point. I have 2 alts with 4 piece and have sold more Primordial Saronite than I can count. The fact that you don't have the badges for this essentially 5 decades after frost badges started falling out of trees is worrisome.

* I actually do tend to freak out and yell a fair amount. If you really are simply not okay with this, this will not work. Seriously. I expect things to be done right the first time, every time, and am vocal when this isn't achieved. On the bright side I am essentially the only one.

* I could care less about you as a person, but since I am very sick of recruiting shamans - do you have any sort of pressing social, economic, technical or logistical problems within the next 4-5 months that would cause you to suddenly fall off the face of the Earth?

These include things like (please read these...)

- falling into a hole
- having your house burn down
- having the hotel that you move into after your house burns down burn down
- picking up a catastrophic computer virus that is impossible to remove and causes you to DC constantly
- moving to a part of the country that does not have internet service
- moving to a part of the country that does not have electricity
- becoming employed at a job that conflicts with raiding
- enrolling in a class that for some reason meets at night instead of during the day like a normal class
- having your limb(s) crushed in a motor vehicle accident
- having a loved one crushed in a motor vehicle accident
- finding a girlfriend/boyfriend/other that requires you to stop playing WoW or to put your girlfriend/boyfriend/other on vent to talk to us to convince us that it isn't really your sister/brother/other
- finding religion
- acquiring pets that are flammable only during raids
- running out of money and being unable to pay the electricity bill, causing them to shut down your electricity at 9 PM
- E-romance
- need to spend all your time impregnating your wife
- marching band (wtf...)
- third year of medical school
- ebay/craigslist for drug money
- your school is actually a territory of North Korea and restricts all internet traffic from non-Leader related sources
- move into a house where the microwave causes the internet to fail, said microwave is sacrosanct and cannot be turned off
- get deployed to Iraq
- get deployed to Applebee's
- your house is built on the edge of a sink hole in Brazil and every time it rains your house slips closer and closer to the sink hole and you have to quit WoW because your internet falls into the sink hole
- you disappear during Mardi Gras and are never heard from again
- get fat and decide the only way to lose weight is to quit WoW
- get a teaching job in rural China
- decide you hate healing and emo out

Well the posts following your app pretty much sumarize our guild. We're a bunch of jerkoffs who USUALLY have fun getting stuff done.

But our healers are and always have been fairly excellent, so you have a high standard to live up to if you do choose to come over. Another plus you might have going for you is that we currently have two girls in the guild, regular fulltime raiders, and both do well at their jobs, so there isn't to my knowledge *too much* of a stereotype against women players.
