I'm a kitty druid from horde side on Akama and due to the lack of good horde kitty druids I shall bring my questions here... Besides the obvious such as "Hey Versedian you're a dumbass for getting cape and belt before your 4 piece" I would like to ask a few pointers.

I have Berserking on my weapon, Is Mongoose better?

Im gemming straight ArPen, should i keep them how they are or go for socket bonus's?

Also the T10 helm just recently dropped me bellow hitcap so working on that.

Hello Versidian. I shall now attempt to decipher your loots.

It looks like you're at about 1000 armor pen, and wearing a needle encrusted scorpion. That makes the NES rather worthless since the proc is only giving you about 400 arpen instead of it's full value of 678, wasting about 35% of the proc. I'd suggest doing one or the other (full armor pen and lose the trinket, or keep the trinket and convert some of the armor pen gems to agi, agi+hit or agi+haste, depending on your stats.

Mongoose vs berserking - mongoose becomes significantly better at higher levels of gear, however it's still only about a 8-15 dps differential. If you aren't sure, you should probably stick with berserking. Mongoose becomes more valuable at high levels of gear because the attack power from berserking has less of an impact at lets say....13000 Attack power than 10000. Mongoose crit helps more for rake, and when you're under the white crit cap. The haste portion of mongoose scales extremely well at higher lvls of gear as well.

Therefore, I'd say stick with berserking for now, get your 4pc, and either lose the trinket or swap a lot of gems to the ones I described above for best benefit. You're probably best off with agi gems in red spots, and for orange using either 10 agi 10 haste or 10 agi 10 hit. Rawr might help you in that regard, for which to pick.

I've always debated going with Mongoose as well, although if it procs with DV, the crit aspect seems kind of wasted at high level's of gear. Think Mongoose is still worth it with DV? Or should I remain with Berserking do you guys think? Link to myself is in the sig ;)
