PoV: Shadow Priest (Efficacy)
Stream: Coming Soon!

Acquired Taste faces the final encounter in Wrath, Arthas Menethil, The Lich King. Fought on Normal difficulty, our 25 player raid conquers the King of the Scourge, the first on US-PvP Realm Akama, and 38th in the US. Through much turmoil and anguish, our Heroes persisted through the Lich King's relentless onslaught, only to be annihilated in the final moments. Unbeknownst to us, the last true King of the once proud nation of Lordaeron would light the path to victory by resurrecting the Champions to secure justice for the heinous act of regicide all those years ago. Just as no King rules forever, no crime can escape the Light's judgment indefinitely. Yet even as the Heroes vanquish the Lich King, a sobering truth is revealed; our victory is soured by the supreme sacrifice of one who accepts the grim task of Jailor of the Damned.

I hate to nitpick, but King Terenas was only the last king of Lordaeron, not of multiple kingdoms. The Wrynn dynasty was never truly broken as Anduin was around even during Varian's captivity, so Varian's as much of a true king as Terenas was. It'd be more appropriate to call Varian King of Azeroth, as the kingdom of Stormwind was previously known as the kingdom of Azeroth until they decided to name the entire world Azeroth sometime between WC3 and WoW. Terenas did lead the Alliance of Lordaeron, so in a sense he had influence over all the human kingdoms, but that was more a factor of Lordaeron's status as the most powerful kingdom (after Azeroth was sacked by the orcs, that is). Varian has more direct control of the Alliance than Terenas ever did of the Alliance of Lordaeron, as that was a loose confederation tied together out of the necessity for self defense.

I'd write it as:
Unbeknownst to us, the last true King of the once proud nation of Lordaeron would light the path to victory by resurrecting the Champions to secure justice for the heinous act of regicide all those years ago. Just as no King rules forever, no crime can escape the Light's judgment indefinitely. EPILOGUE
As we depart from this frigid land, a final parting glimpse through the mists of that accursed spire of Icecrown reminds us of the horrific costs this war has had, and in the end, what did we accomplish? Yet the gloomy lands of Northrend cannot completely erase the good spirits of these hardened veterans. With eyes focused towards familiar homes, long-absent smiles being to reappear on the faces of the men, allowing themselves to lower their emotional guards secure in the knowledge that no matter what evils transpired in the far north, a relatively peaceful Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms awaits their return. We all left a part of ourselves in that hellish dungeon, and with Horde relations as cordial as they've been in years, perhaps it's time to sheath our weapons and begin the work of rebuilding a world ravaged by war. Ever vigilant, Acquired Taste will wait until the time that Azeroth again requires the services of its heroes, and rest assured, we will rise to the occasion. Until then, Glory to the Alliance and may the Light keep you.

**Surprisingly not drunk when I wrote this, probably would've been more interesting if I had been. Obviously got a little carried away haha but it's mostly meant to be entertaining while poking fun at some good old fashioned RP.
