6. You will need lots of consumables to keep up with the pace during progression raids. Do you have the will and time to put in enough effort to keep an adequate amount?
Like I said, I enjoy farming and I have the gold to keep all my consumables at a decent amount. I usually bring flasks and such as well, doesn't really bother me.
7. Will you come to a progression raid having already read any available information relevant to encounters?
I make sure before every raid I am prepared with the current knowledge of any boss. I hate looking stupid, so I make sure to know all the information for each boss.

8. What do you think about beginning raids early and staying beyond the required raid times to down new content?
Sounds fine, sometimes schedules change for people and such, I'm usually on regardless so it shouldn't be an issue on my part.

- I use Elv UI, consisting of most raiding addons most people use, I also use Icehud and Clique.
D. Dual Spec

1. What is your secondary spec?
Elemental
2. Are you able to play it as well as your main spec?
Wouldn't say so.
3. Are you willing to change your main spec and/or secondary spec for guild needs?
I prefer healing, which Ive done on other classes as well, but if it is extremely needed, I could consider switching to Elemental, which would also probably need major improvements.

E. Professions

1. What are your 2 professions? if they are not maxed to the level of profession perks, why not?
herbalism and Alchemy, Both are maxed. I understand that I should probably drop herb for JC, which I plan on doing.
2. If you have a gathering profession, what is stopping you from dropping it for a profession that benefits your stats more?
Nothing is really stopping me, I just enjoy farming, but if it is a huge pet peeve, Its easily changeable.

1. What guild are you currently in? Who is/was the GM? Include their website.
Reason for leaving your current guild?
I quit for a few months after Under Pressure fell apart, but Celly was the GM, although I did not play much with her. I'm in Recoil right now just as a casual.

3. Do you play actively outside of raiding?
School could get busy, but yes I actively play outside of raiding, I enjoy farming and such.
4. Are you able to take and improve upon harsh criticism?
Constructive criticism should always be mentioned, I love playing my class to have it mastered and If it takes some criticism to make me a better raider, then so be it.

5. There will be bench time. Everyone will have to sit at one point in time or another. Are you okay with this?
Everyone has to sit at some point during this game, Its understandable. I'm perfectly fine with it if it interferes with progression or whatever is stopping the guild.

6. Why are you interested in joining Acquired Taste? do you currently know anyone in Acquired Taste?
Ive been on this server for several years, Acquired taste has always been know as the best, after UP broke up I was asked to join but decided to take a break, thought Id give it another shot. I know multiple people: All the old Under Pressure members as well as Nem.
7. What are the other guilds you applied to? any particular reason why you are shopping for multiple guilds?
Not really interested in any other guilds at the moment, I plan on staying on Akama, Ive been here for 4 years, so.

A few things (seriousness varies):

Your down speed kinda blows, are you on some sort of campus internet and do you have any disconnection problem?

Do you find it funny like several others do to not show up to raids and not post absences invariably wasting my time?

As difficult as the rotation must be (because it took magallo an entire night to master), can you learn elemental for H rag?

Do you have elemental gear?

Do you know H rag?

Do you find yourself wandering close to large holes in the ground?

How long do you plan to remain in Acquired Taste? I ask because we're typically averted to recruiting younger members, as their lives are unstable and they disappear without putting in a 2-week notice or replacing themselves (which is polite if we hand you gear).

How quickly can you change your gathering profession?

Multiple Choice:

Hyper asks me to join healer chat upon invitation to Acquired Taste. I immediately make the chat:
A) 2 point font and 20% alpha so I can never read what he's saying, wasting his time.
B) 16 point font and BRIGHT FUCKING RED so I always know what he's saying, forcing him to type simple instructions once.

I don't know what I'm doing:
A) wing it
B) assume I'm right, Hyper will get mad if I ask questions
C) scroll up in healer chat
D) ask
E) C AND THEN D

I didn't do my job causing the raid to wipe (or another unfavorable outcome):
A) I speak up so as to save time and quickly address the issue
B) I wait for a death report and an investigation which wastes time and still arrives at the same conclusion

My opinion on the PTR and Hyper's posts regarding it, including the GMOTD:

C) show up with inevitable issues like everyone else; having not attempted to resolve them prior to raid time, also having no character copied
D) Hyper is an annoying twat that asks too much of me omg this is too hard

Hyper : - Yes, I'm on campus internet, hasn't really affected me too much in the past, out of my entire time in UP I think I had to sit out one night due to my internet being choppy.
- Usually when you enforce a certain raid schedule, you're supposed to show up, so considering i am app'ing, I don't think I'd consider not showing up, and like I have in every other guild on WoW, I will post if I'm absent.
- I have pieces of elemental gear ( not including tier ) that can be used with some adjusting, I understand the ele rotation, with a few more pieces I think it would be viable for heroic rag, would I LOVE to use it for every boss, no, but for the obvious Rag fight and the utility it provides I would definitely switch.
- I plan to stay in AT until, idk when, something serious happens I guess? My school life is pretty stable, nothing to big. Changing my profession shouldn't take long at all, I have the gold and its pretty basic from there.
- I'm not sure how serious your multiple choice is but I will answer it in order ; B, E, A, B .. Do I win?

Lovely, I have no qualms with you joining if you can commit to this guild. Currently though, I don't need any more healers for H Rag, but an elemental shaman for SP and a potential knockback would be a useful asset. I wouldn't need you to play elemental for every fight, but in 4.2, 25 H rag is the only progression left, aside from dumb achievements that we'll never get because people are awful.
