A. Basic Information

Name? Zach
Age? Gender? 19 Male
Time zone? EST
How long have you played WoW? Since the middle of Burning Crusade.
Total time on this character? Uhhh like 200 days or something nerdy.. too much.

B. System Information

What are your system specs? GOOD? AMD Phenom II x4 3.2 GHz, 6 gigs ddr3 1333 ram.. gtx 270 or something old for a video card.
Do you have a mic? Yeah
Do you have any objections to speaking on vent when needed? No
Do you have any disconnection problem at all? Last year at school I did because my college is garbage but I shouldn't have that issue anymore.
Post a speed test from http://www.speedtest.net/

Average Latency while raiding? <150
Average FPS in raid during a boss? 30+

C. Raiding and Character information

1. Character Name | Spec | Class
Stryffe | Marksman/Survival | Hunter
2. Are you a clicker?
Negative
3. Do you have any notable alts?
Some garbage feral druid to tank heroics with for satchels and a terrible pvp warrior who doesn't pvp. Both would be left on horde.
4. What is your raiding experience Pre-BC? In BC? WoTLK? Specify if in a leadership role.
Pre-BC I didn't play at all, I picked the game up during BC but didn't start raiding until Tier 6 content. I joined chupathingy just as they finished their attunements for Hyjal/BT and started raiding with them from there on out. We cleared through Illidan pre-3.0 and after 3.0 cleared up to Kil'Jaeden. When Wrath was released I cleared horde first Naxx with Chupa, and continued to get horde first Malygos and Sarth 10/25 3D kills with Amateur Hour. AH shortly ninja-xfered off Akama which gave me a good opportunity to quit the game for the spring/summer with no real dedication issues to a guild so I did. I came back to the game when Chupa was halfway through clearing heroic ICC material, which we cleared up to 25 Heroic LK and Heroic Halion before running face first into a brick wall of incompetence.
5. Provide an armory link to your character and a wowhead link to your normal raiding spec.

6. You will need lots of consumables to keep up with the pace during progression raids. Do you have the will and time to put in enough effort to keep an adequate amount?
Got plenty of gold laying around as well as a stock pile of materials in my bank/bags.
7. Will you come to a progression raid having already read any available information relevant to encounters?
Definitely. Learning my class and boss fights prior to having to execute is part of being in a raiding guild and I always keep up to date on both of them. elitist jerks and tankspot/youtube all provide good information which I check regularly for my class and for boss strategies.
8. What do you think about beginning raids early and staying beyond the required raid times to down new content?
It's a good idea and I will definitely be able to stay later however my schedule previous to raids might be a bit inconsistent but I will be here on time however.
9. Post a WWS report / Wow Meter Online of a few recent raids in your guild. If your guild does not run these, post a screenshot(s) of your recount for some boss encounters. (DO NOT LEAVE THIS OUT)
http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-5q59yc93ylilm4eq/

There isn't much activity recently but before this post should be a few parses.
10. Post a screenshot of your UI while in a raid environment (in combat). (Give a list of any relevant addons not shown.)
http://i.imgur.com/EeeBP.jpg
Don't have a SS during raid environment but it's Bubu UI and everything is shown besides a few hidden bars I have set up with Keybindings in them.

D. Dual Spec

1. What is your secondary spec?
A pvp marksman spec.
2. Are you able to play it as well as your main spec?
My secondary would probably be survival, but I do know how to play all 3 hunter specs competitively.
3. Are you willing to change your main spec and/or secondary spec for guild needs?
Of course. Sometimes survival currently can pull better dps on fights where there are multiple targets so when we need that extra DPS I would always be willing to respec. Also if a 3% damage increase buff isn't present BM Is always an alternative as well.

E. Professions

1. What are your 2 professions? if they are not maxed to the level of profession perks, why not?
JC and Engineering. Both are maxed.
2. If you have a gathering profession, what is stopping you from dropping it for a profession that benefits your stats more?
N/A

F. Other Questions

1. What guild are you currently in? Who is/was the GM? Include their website.
Team Sports currently. Devine is the GM and their website is located at http://teamsports.wowstead.com/
2. Why are you leaving your current guild?
Well we haven't really raided a 25m in a few weeks now and they take their old school Team RCA guys to their 10m so I've been doing nothing and I'm bored.
3. Do you play actively outside of raiding?
Yeah. Achievement whoring takes quite some time.
4. Are you able to take and improve upon harsh criticism?
I believe so. I always like to improve and if there's something obvious that I'm doing wrong I probably deserve to be yelled at.
5. There will be bench time. Everyone will have to sit at one point in time or another. Are you okay with this?
Of course. Getting some time off raiding keeps me from burning out.
6. Why are you interested in joining Acquired Taste? do you currently know anyone in Acquired Taste?
I am interested in joining because you have always carried a reputation of being the best and getting shit done. You have been around a long time which shows good structure and stability so the leadership must be working. I am also tired of not raiding, and I know you all do raid so that's another plus. I know a handful of your members ranging from previous guildies, friends, and other various chit-chats. Asstray, Murder, Brynmor, Meepoe, Feisty, Tanichka...
7. What are the other guilds you applied to? any particular reason why you are shopping for multiple guilds?
I applied to Unholy Trinity a 13/13 Horde guild on Burning Blade. I have RL friends on that server so I said hey why not..they accepted me but Murder has been riding my dick trying to find dps so here we are.
8. How can we contact you outside of the game? AIM, Email, etc...
Email works good, stryffe@hotmail.com

P.S.

More on my class .. I haven't raided with TS in quite some time. Since we haven't been playing Aimed Shot has been nerfed, I just haven't switched glyphs yet. I also know I'm about 1.5-2% under the haste cap for hunters currently, which is easily fixable with the boots off Atramedes. I just figured I'd point this out instead of get ripped apart for something I'm well aware of.

Definitely want to pick up Arcane shot glyph over RF. As AS will still be your main focus dump sub 80%. Though on your parses you only shot AS once on Valiona, 0 times on Halfus? Hardcasting AiS loses it's power pretty much if you're unhasted under 80% on a boss. Outside of MMM procs and Hero/RF, you shouldn't still be casting it if the boss is under 80.

Wild hunt(2 Points) on your pet spec > Shark Attack.

Besides that I don't see anything wrong. Haste isn't that big of an issue to me, our hunters run crit/mastery instead of reforging to haste. Personal preference, I've seen other hunters go haste and do good on meters.

Transfer over if you'd like, we do run 3 hunters so there will be bench time etc.

That's what I was getting at. Most of my parses were prenerf so even hardcasting aimed was better than dumping arcanes below 80%. I read up on everything so I got a pretty good idea of what I need to be doing now.. I Just haven't exactly raided since then lol

Well the one parse you linked was this month, which is post nerf. I've been using this priority/rotation for the last I don't know 2-3 months. So the nerf has been live for a while.

Just an observation I made since I looked over the talent build you linked, and was still glyphing RF over KS. RF is just not one of those glyphs I would glyph over say KS or even ChimS. I would say it's situational but more times than none, you really don't need to get your Steadies below GCD. Which is why I think the extra haste is a waste on glyphing RF especially if you're reforging into haste.

I could be talking out of my ass, but I haven't checked EJ in months(correct me if I'm wrong). Pretty much due to no new information being put out.
